1. Are you participating in the CrossFit Games Open 2018?

-Yes!

 

2. How many times have you participated?

-I have done the open twice before. 

 

3. Why do you participate in the Open?

-I love the connection the open creates with the rest of the world. Simply knowing that people from all backgrounds, abilities, and locations are going through the same workouts together is motivation enough to participate. Also,I have  major FOMO (fear of missing out). 

 

4. What is your favorite part of the Open?   

-When they announce the workout. It’s like opening a Christmas present...I love the surprise. 

 

5.  Would you recommend the Open for everybody? If so why?

-Yes! (Unless an injury prevents you)

I did the open before I could do a pull up. Now I get to do the open at a different level, but if I had never done it before I wouldn’t be able to see the progress.  You can choose what to compete against or the goal you would like to set for yourself, but no matter what it’s just a lot of fun!
